About

A bit about me

Osamah AlBahnasi
Working with a colleague on the 3PL and CarLog projects

SAP-certified junior consultant selected from 1,500+ global applicants for SAP's Young Professionals Program (YPP) — one of ~30 accepted — with dual SAP associate certifications in E2E Business Processes and Generative AI. Enterprise software delivery experience at RFID Saudi Trading Company, where I took ownership of a cross-functional development team as business analyst and delivery lead, with strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills. Targeting a junior SAP consultant role (ERP / S/4HANA / BTP).

Outside of that, I've been digging into workflow automation — building and experimenting with n8n to connect systems and automate processes end-to-end.

Experience

Where I've worked

04/2026 – 06/2026

Young Professionals Program (YPP) — Trainee

SAP · SAP Digital Skills Center · Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

  • Selected from 1,500+ global applicants; one of ~30 accepted into SAP's flagship partner talent program.
  • Completed intensive training across SAP Business Suite, BTP, and Generative AI, including process walkthroughs and consulting-skills coursework.
  • Earned SAP Certified Associate credentials: E2E Business Processes (IEE2E) and Generative AI Developer (C_AIG).

10/2022 – 09/2025

Software Engineer

RFID Saudi Trading Company · Dammam, Saudi Arabia

  • Took ownership of a cross-functional team (UI/UX, PHP backend, Flutter mobile) by end of tenure, acting as business analyst and delivery lead — planned and managed team tasks and coordinated requirements with internal stakeholders.
  • Communicated app releases to internal stakeholders, gathered feedback, and authored user documentation and how-to manuals to support adoption.
  • Introduced structured documentation practices that improved cross-team communication and reduced friction between developers.
  • Performed SQL-based data cleaning and format standardization on the application server.
  • Compiled and presented a department-wide IT status and strategic roadmap review to leadership — covering security practices, documentation standards, and training processes across the app portfolio.
  • Also contributed to the company website (owned documentation and content organization, working with the developer building it) and recovered/stabilized a previously-built internal password manager application for handoff to production.

07/2018 – 08/2018

Technology Coordinator Assistant

National Talents Company · Dhahran, Saudi Arabia

  • Deployed and configured 800+ Raspberry Pi devices for national educational initiatives.
  • Assisted with system setup, troubleshooting, and technical coordination across multiple institutions.

Projects

Things I've built

3PL — Logistics & Warehouse Visualization Platform

Problem

Warehouse operations needed digitizing — inventory, reporting, and a way for staff to navigate unfamiliar warehouse layouts.

Role

Delivery lead for a 4-person team (2 backend, 2 mobile). Personally led the AR/3D visualization R&D from a standing start — learned Unity, Blender, and Immersal, then scanned and modeled two physical facilities.

Result

Shipped authentication, warehouse/storage CRUD, filtered reporting with Excel export, and inventory management. The AR/3D navigation R&D hit a real hardware limit — mobile cameras couldn't spatially map large warehouse areas — and was shelved in favor of the core platform.

PHPFlutterUnity/Blender (R&D)Team Leadership

CarLog — Fleet Maintenance Tracking System

Problem

Vehicle maintenance, equipment checklists, and accident reporting needed a proper system instead of ad hoc tracking.

Role

Owned SRS documentation end-to-end across 4 revisions, coordinated a backend and a mobile developer, ran the phase 2 planning cycle.

Result

Shipped authentication, a notification system, exportable maintenance and accident records, and conditional equipment checklist logic.
